The info below was focused on older girls but younger girl troops might be interested as well....
Below please find key links and contact information for SU 75 leaders who have taken a group to both Rocking Horse Ranch OR Pinegrove Ranch. Both offer GS weekends throughout the year.
Thank you to Adrienne, Jeanene and Lisa who have offered to serve as resources.
Good luck with your trip planning and do not forget to complete appropriate trip documentation and check safety activity checkpoints on council website.
Best regards
-Debbie Herman

"Hi Debbie my troop went last april when rocking horse hosts a girl scout weekend! It was a savings to go on the GS weekends and not on our own! My girls loved it and ask to go back all the time. The rooms are very clean newly done they have an indoor pool and water playground on the small side ( but the girls luv it) We rode horses 2x and it was great fun moms also did it w/ the girls. The rock wall and bungy are the other big draws. The craft room cost extra $5 per girl and the arcade rooms are nice. The dinning room was very nice not like a camp out more like a pocono retreat. The buffet was open all meals and dinner was served to you - we couldnt complain. The main lodge had a great fireplace, lounge area that the adults can sit and watch the girls swim in the pool. Some girls did a scavenger hunt some liked to play video games and some played in a basketball tournament. I think the place is a hidden gem for Troops to visit!
I can come to a meeting and discuss if any leaders are interested!"

"Never been to Rocking Horse Ranch, but we did go to Pinegrove Ranch and Family Resort a few years ago and the girls had a great time. It was a fun trip. We left here early on a Friday afternoon and returned on Sunday evening. They offer horseback riding - different level trails for all skills (we chose to bring our own bike helmets to wear), hiking, and outdoor activities. Also indoor pool, mini golf, laser tag, snack bar, DJ & dance area, board games and activities, etc...They offered GS Badge Programs on certain weekends too."
